Report: Outfielder Torii Hunter Expected To Meet Tuesday With Detroit
Outfielder Torii Hunter is expected to meet with the Tigers on Tuesday, according to Jon Paul Morosi of FoxSports.com.
Detroit is the favorite for the 37-year-old Hunter, say CBSSports.com's Danny Knobler and Scott Miller. Hunter has expressed a strong desire to play for a contender. Playing in Detroit would also allow him to be relatively close to his son, Torii Jr., who will be playing football for Notre Dame next season.
