Up to $200,000 in Funding Available for Diesel Emissions Reduction Project

ANN ARBOR -- The Clean Energy Coalition is seeking public- or private-sector project partners for the 2012 Michigan Department of Environmental Quality Clean Diesel Grant Program.

This competitive grant of up to $200,000 will be awarded in January. The Clean Energy Coalition will write the grant proposal and administer the project funds, if awarded.

Potential partners are asked to complete a form at this link that will provide Clean Energy Coalition with the information needed to select a project partner. Vehicles and infrastructure must be operable by December 2013. Preference will be given to partners that can contribute matching funds for the project.

The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21. Partners will be notified by Tuesday, Nov. 27. Selected partners must then provide a letter of commitment, detailed fleet information, and staff biographies by Friday, Nov. 30.

The Clean Energy Coalition will submit the completed grant application to the Michigan DEQ by the Monday, Dec. 3 deadline.
