Boy Could Face Charges After Bus Shot With BB Gun

JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A 14-year-old boy could face charges after authorities say he shattered a window on a West Michigan school bus with a BB gun.

Radio station WGHN reports there were no injuries to the 11 students on the Beaverdam Christian School bus after the vehicle was targeted Thursday.

School officials called 911 after the window broke. Police tracked down the boy from Ottawa County's Jamestown Township and say he told them he fired on the bus.

Authorities confiscated the weapon. The county prosecutor could bring charges.
