This is the debut of Top 25 Detroit Sports Trending. Who is talked about the most in November on the Detroit sports scene?

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

1. Ndamukong Suh: Spot light doesn’t get much bigger for Suh with a game against the Packers (stomp) and a Thanksgiving Day (stomp) game four days later.

2. Denard Robinson: Can he play on ‘Senior Day’ in Ann Arbor? Will he be a factor against Ohio State?

3. Matthew Stafford: His numbers are OK, but the record so far isn’t.

4. Calvin Johnson: Madden curse? Injuries? When you are the best wide out in the game everything is magnified.

5. Devin Gardner: Two nice starts where he’s looked very good. How will he be used if Denard Robinson comes back?

6. Scott Linehan: Lions offensive coordinator needs to figure out how to get the offense going in the first half.

7. Martin Mayhew: With every loss the last two Lions drafts are more scrutinized.

8. Jim Schwartz: He got the Lions to the playoffs and has a contract extension. How will the Lions finish their final seven games off?

9. Andre Drummond: Pistons rookie big man is ahead of schedule even as Detroit struggles out of the gate.

10. Torii Hunter: Tigers address their biggest need before Michigan’s first snow.

11. Miguel Cabrera: Triple Crown winner keeps the MVP in Detroit.

12. Gary Bettman: Hat trick lockout commissioner is most hated man in hockey.

13. Brandon Dawson: MSU forward is back from a knee injury and looks 100%

14. Glenn Robinson III: UM freshman is referred to already as GRIII.

15. Bruce Rondon: Is he the Tigers 2013 closer?

16. Greg Monroe: Registered first triple double of his career.

17. Gerald Laird: Gone to the Braves in free agency. Did a good job as backup catcher for Tigers.

18. Tom Izzo: Getting a lot of face time with Spartans playing in Germany and then against Kansas.

19. John Beilein: UM coach will be chasing Tom Izzo all year. Does Michigan have a better basketball roster?

20. Trey Burke: Wolverines are ranked in the top five and he’s the point guard.

21. Gary Harris: Michigan State freshman looks like a good one.

22. Lawrence Frank: This years and last year’s Pistons start has people wondering if there was something to the New Jersey Nets 0-16 mark in 09 coached by Frank.

23. Mark Dantonio: MSU coming off a bye. Have they figured something out on offense?

24. Mike Ilitch: Wants to win a World Series and continues to go after it.

25. Kyle Singler: Rookie made his first pro start Wednesday at Philly as Pistons picked up their first win of the season. Singler’s been a nice surprise so far.
