Matthew Stafford may be more of a jeans, t-shirt and backwards hat kind of a guy, but he has learned how to step it up with the help of Van Heusen. Stafford is part of Van Heusen’s “Institute of Style” campaign and he co-stars with Steve Young and Jerry Rice in their latest Funny or Die commercial.

The video starts off with Stafford getting his assignment from Rice and Young. He has to help a young man named Pete get suited and booted for a small loan application interview. The city of Detroit even gets a little love in the end of the spot when Pete reveals that his business plan is pizza in the shape of Detroit (Stafford claims it was his idea).
Stafford has revealed himself to be quite the thespian and has cut his comedy chops in several commercials. Could a career in TV be next?
