Michigan Matters: Diabetes & Heart Disease

With the holidays here, it's a perfect time to take stock of how we're doing – health wise.

Michigan Matters Host Carol Cain talks to Natalka Cap, a Registered Nurse and Diabetes Ambassador, and  Ronnell Carr, Manager – Mission Delivery, from the American Diabetes Association, about diabetes prevention.

Then with Dr. Pam Marcovitz, a cardiologist who is the Medical Director of Wm. Beaumont Hospital's  Ministrelli Women's Heart Center, about heart disease.

Dr. Marcovitz joins the Roundtable of Business Executive Denise Ilitch and Faith Fowler, Executive Director of Cass Community Social Services about health issues and aiding the poor and disabled.
