Woman Killed After Deer Crashes Through Windshield
BIRCH RUN TWP. (WWJ/AP) - State police say a deer hit by a vehicle crashed through the windshield of another car in Saginaw County, killing a woman and leaving her husband in critical condition.
Police say the incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday on Dixie Highway in Birch Run Township, near Frankenmuth.
The 35-year-old Bridgeport woman died at the scene of the crash. Her 34-year-old husband was taken to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. No names were released.
