Traffic Alert: Weekend Road Work

DETROIT (WWJ) – Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there are no plans for major lane closures over the weekend — although those orange barrels will still be out.

The following projects were announced by MDOT. As always, some of this work may be postponed due to weather.

In Wayne County, the right lane of eastbound I-94 will be closed at locations from French Road in Detroit to Eight Mile Road in Harper Woods from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Beginning the week of Monday, Nov. 26:

M-10 (Lodge Freeway):

In Detroit, the right lane of southbound M-10 will be closed at Euclid Street from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily starting Monday and ending Saturday, Dec. 1. for sign work. In addition, the ramp from Clairmont Street to southbound M-10 will be closed during the same time.

In Detroit, the left lane of southbound I-75 will be closed at 7 Mile Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily starting Monday and ending Friday, Nov. 30 for sign work.
