Traffic Alert: Weekend Road Work
DETROIT (WWJ) - Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there are no plans for major lane closures over the weekend -- although those orange barrels will still be out.
The following projects were announced by MDOT. As always, some of this work may be postponed due to weather.
I-94:
In Wayne County, the right lane of eastbound I-94 will be closed at locations from French Road in Detroit to Eight Mile Road in Harper Woods from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Beginning the week of Monday, Nov. 26:
M-10 (Lodge Freeway):
In Detroit, the right lane of southbound M-10 will be closed at Euclid Street from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily starting Monday and ending Saturday, Dec. 1. for sign work. In addition, the ramp from Clairmont Street to southbound M-10 will be closed during the same time.
I-75:
In Detroit, the left lane of southbound I-75 will be closed at 7 Mile Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily starting Monday and ending Friday, Nov. 30 for sign work.
