WILX-TV reports that 19-year-old Kevin Hart and 20-year-old Charles Mitt were arraigned Friday on one count each of reckless driving causing death.

Darrell Hall’s car was hit by a pickup truck as he drove south Thursday afternoon onto North Shiawassee Street.

According to reports, a witness told police that two pickup trucks may have been drag racing north along the street when Hall’s car was struck.

Hart was arrested at the scene of the crash. Mitts was arrested later at his home in Owosso, about 30 miles northeast of Lansing.

Each is jailed on a $20,000 bond.
