Powerball Jackpot Rolls Over To $425 Million

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - While many people played, no one matched all the numbers. Now the Powerball jackpot is rising  to a staggering $425 million.

Saturday's jackpot climbed up to $325 million dollars, the fourth largest in the game's history.

Lottery officials said it's the largest jackpot ever for the game.

WWJ's Beth Fisher says people are hoping for that winning ticket and imagining what they would do with the winnings.

Suzie Adams said that she'd make a lot of people happy if she won. She said she'd pay off her house and the houses of others.

But what are her chances of winning? "I have no idea," she said. "But you can't win if you don't play."

The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday. WWJ will have those winning numbers for you at 11 p.m. that night.
