ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit receiver Titus Young remains in exile after being deactivated for last week’s game against Houston.
Young wasn’t at practice Tuesday and his status remains very much in doubt. He was benched for the Lions’ 34-31 loss to Houston on Thanksgiving for what coach Jim Schwartz described as “unacceptable” behavior during the previous weekend’s loss to Green Bay.
Schwartz said Tuesday the team will keep evaluating Young and decide “based on his behavior” when he might return.
Schwartz was asked if he thinks Young has played his last game as a Lion, but the coach says it’s way too early to tell.
Young, a second-year receiver out of Boise State, has 33 catches for 383 yards and four touchdowns this season.
