Man Killed In Accident Hauling Christmas Trees

HOLLY (AP) - One person is dead following a bizarre accident in Grand Blanc Township.

It happened on I-75 just south of Holly, when a Ford Pick up pulling a trailer with a load of Christmas trees overturned.

Police believe the accident was caused by another vehicle that struck the pick-up.

The driver, a 56-year-old man from Curtis, got out of the truck and moments later, a Chevy Lumina, driven by a 22-year-old Clarkston woman struck the pick-up causing it to roll.

The man was pinned under the truck -- and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Clarkston woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired.
