HOWELL (AP) – More than 150 members of the Michigan Army National Guard based in Howell are headed home after a year supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

The 1462nd Transportation Company members are set to return Sunday and attend a homecoming ceremony.

The soldiers were deployed in December 2011 to Kuwait and Afghanistan.

The Company was first called to active duty in December 2003 when it was sent to Iraq.
