Pumpkin Play In Pontiac Leads To Shooting

PONTIAC (WWJ) – A dispute over pumpkin throwing in Pontiac has left a 21-year-old woman with a gunshot wound.

The Oakland County sheriff’s office says that the woman and her friends “were playing with pumpkins” last night when they got into a confrontation with the driver of a pickup truck.

Police say the driver believed one of the pumpkins hit his truck, pulled out a gun and shot in the group’s direction.

The Pontiac woman’s injuries are non-life threatening.
