Outfielder/second baseman Ryan Raburn is drawing interest from six teams, including the Rays, Braves, Rangers and Marlins, according to ESPN.com’s Jayson Stark.
Raburn, 31, has played all of his seven major-league seasons for the Tigers. The team released the right-handed hitter this month.
Raburn hit .171/.226/.254 in 222 plate appearances for the Tigers in 2012. However, he hit .274/.329/.473 with 45 home runs in 1,119 plate appearances from 2009 to 2011 and could be useful as a platoon player against left-handed pitching.
