GRAND RAPIDS — Grand Valley State University President Thomas J. Haas and West Shore Community College President Charles T. Dillon signed a transfer agreement that will help students who transfer to Grand Valley complete an associate degree at WSCC.

The signing took place Dec. 4 at Haworth Inc. in Grand Rapids.

The initiative applies to students at Scottville-based West Shore Community College who have completed at least 32 credits at WSCC, but transferred before earning an associate degree.

Grand Valley has similar transfer agreements with Grand Rapids Community College, Muskegon Community College, Montcalm Community College, Macomb Community College, and Northwestern Michigan College.
