ALLEN PARK (AP) – The Detroit Lions put wide receivers Titus Young and Ryan Broyles on injured reserve Tuesday.
Young has been inactive for the last two games after what coach Jim Schwartz called “unacceptable” behavior in a game against Green Bay last month. Broyles needs surgery on his right knee.
Detroit also released safety Erik Coleman, signed wide receiver Kris Durham from the practice squad and signed safety Tyrell Johnson.
The Lions signed Troy Burrell to the practice squad.
Young was listed with a knee problem earlier this season, but in recent weeks the team made it clear that he was in exile because of his behavior and not an injury.
