Report: Tigers May Be Out On Rafael Soriano
A Detroit Tigers official says that a deal between the team and free-agent closer Rafael Soriano isn't happening, according to MLB.com's Peter Gammons.
Soriano, the highest-profile closer on the free-agent market this offseason, was previously reported to be looking for a four-year deal worth $60 million this offseason.
The Tigers reportedly made contact with Soriano's agent, Scott Boras, in late November.
