Suh "I'm The Type Of Player That Would Never Celebrate Anybody Being Hurt"

By: Jeff Riger

Another Wednesday at Lions Headquarters at Allen Park and another media session with Lions tackle Ndamukong Suh. Suh, who has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons this season felt the need to address the media and clear up the latest rumor involving him.

After the Lions blew a 12 point lead to the Colts on Sunday at Ford Field, allegations came out about Suh celebrating after Indy tackle Winston Justice had received a concussion. Suh denies cheering for the injury but did admit that he was celebrating the play saying "we got the ball, we are running off the sideline, Corey (Williams) is grabbing me, jumping all over me and hopefully we win the game. We were up 12 points, hopefully the offense goes and score and we are up even more. I'm facing the total opposite way; I don't know what's going on with the guy."

Suh made it clear that he would never cheer for an opposing player's injury and knows that these accusations probably won't stop as he is not new to the media scrutiny. "It is what it is" Suh said. "I have been an easy target of negative things and I understand that in my life. I'm going to move past it, I'm looking forward to Sunday and that is what I am focusing on."

Unlike the kick to the groin of Texans Quarterback Matt Schaub on Thanksgiving Day, Suh will not be fined for this transgression saying "no fine, no nothing! Today is usually the day that you get fined. They usually come by 10 AM; I unfortunately know that so I haven't received anything."
