Farmington Hills Police Need Help Finding Missing 79-Year-Old Man

FARMINTON HILLS (WWJ)  - The Farmington Hills Police Department continues to seek the public's assistance in locating a missing 79-year-old male from Farmington Hills.

Howard Koss left his Farmington Hills home from the area of 13 Mile Road and Haggerty Road on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 7 a.m.

Mr. Koss, who has been diagnosed with dementia, left in his car with his two dogs. He is described as a white man, 5' 10" to 6'0" and about 140 pounds with gray hair.

During the day, Mr. Koss made phone contact with his family and indicated he was still in the Farmington Hills-Novi area, but was confused about how to get home.

Police have been able to determine that Mr. Koss made a purchase at a gas station in the area of 10 Mile Road and Novi Road at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday. Mr. Koss has not been seen or heard from since.
