Authorities: 3 Held In Parking Structure Attack

ANN ARBOR (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say three men suspected of attacking two men in an Ann Arbor parking structure have been arrested.

The attack on the 20- and 21-year-old men, who are from Dexter, happened about 2 a.m. Friday at the structure on Maynard Street, near East Liberty Street.

The victims told police three people got out of a tan Pontiac and attacked them. The victims allegedly said they were punched, knocked to the ground and kicked continuously while on the ground.

Shortly after the alleged attack, officers stopped a car believed to be carrying the suspects. Three men from Jackson were held on suspicion of aggravated assault.

Police say the 21-year-old had extensive injuries to the face, head and neck area and the 20-year-old had face and head injuries. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment.

It wasn't immediately known what led to the attack.
