Bold Media redesigns Web site for Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects: The Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious professional organization. It is open to all architects, engineers and computer science professionals and students of Arab heritage residing in the USA. Because the AAAEA is a non-profit organization, they have always relied upon donations of time and services for simple marketing needs such as social media and Web site communications. This changed in October 2012 when the need to communicate and expand their reach became more than a volunteer could offer. The AAAEA has taken advantage of Bold Media’s services in the past; using them to photograph their annual banquet for the past few years. This time, the AAAEA decided to expand their relationship with Bold Media and enlisted them to redevelop their Web site. Bold Media redeveloped the existing Web site for AAAEA from the ground up. The site was built using a content management structure so that content could easily be added and removed. Simple items were added including a front page slide show, hyperlink buttons, a contact form and a photo gallery. The focus of the new website is the new membership component that allowed AAAEA members to create an account and pay their yearly dues online. The membership manager tracked accounts to promote recurring memberships while making it easy for new members to join. Bold Media expects that with the new Web site launch, the organization would find it very easy to communicate with all of its members. Bold Media is based in Livonia. More at www.boldmedia.co.
