PONTIAC, Mich. (WWJ) – Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect in connection with the sexual assault of a 31-year-old woman over the weekend.

The victim told sheriff’s officials she was attacked around 1 a.m. Sunday. She said she was asleep and woke up to see a man dressed in black, wearing a black ski mask, and armed with a silver handgun. The man demanded money, then assaulted her before leaving with her cell phone.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, short and slender, with a medium complexion. He was dressed in all black and had on a black ski mask.
