Detroit Red Wings Alumni Benefit Game For Officer O'Rourke Family
Plymouth, MI On Friday, December 21 at 7:15 p.m. The Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association in association with the Joe Kocur Foundation for Children will be staging a charity hockey game at Compuware Arena to benefit the family of fallen West Bloomfield police officer Patrick O'Rourke.
A team comprised of local law enforcement officers will also be participating in this contest while special guest vocalist Karen Newman will be on hand to sing 'The Star Spangled Banner' prior to puck drop.
In addition to enjoying an entertaining exhibition match featuring some of the most popular players from recent Hockeytown history, attendees of this game will also have the opportunity to bid on game-worn Red Wings Alumni Association jerseys and participate in an evening-long 50-50 raffle.
