Postgame Analysis: Cardinals 38, Lions 10

The Arizona Cardinals were written off, ignored, forgotten. That’s what a 58-0 loss will do for a team.

But on Sunday, one week after being dismantled by the Seattle Seahawks, the Cardinals won their first game since Week 4. That’s what a game against Detroit will do for a team.

The Cardinals (5-9) dominated the Lions 38-10 at University of Phoenix Stadium, snapping a nine-game losing streak and, for the time being, erasing the memory of the worst loss in team history.

Arizona flummoxed the Lions (4-10) by frustrating Matt Stafford, intercepting him twice and holding him to a sub-50 completion percentage (24 of 50) and 246 yards. They also sacked him twice.
