The Tigers have done a lot this off season, signing free agent outfielder Torii Hunter and re-signing starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez. But there are still issues they should address. Here are three of them:
1. Bullpen – The Tigers need another pitcher who can either set up in the late innings or close, should rookie Bruce Rondon falter.
2. Middle infield – Ramon Santiago didn’t have a good year in 2012 and Danny Worth has not been stellar. What do the Tigers do if something happens to either shortstop Jhonny Peralta or second baseman Omar Infante? The Tigers could use an upgrade with their utility infielders.
3. The Tigers could use another right-handed hitter in the outfield to platoon with Andy Dirks in left field.
