Mom In Custody After Apparent Stabbing Death Of 9-Year-Old Daughter

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police tell WWJ that a child has died,  the victim of an apparent stabbing.

Authorites tell WWJ that a 26 year-old woman is in custody after her daughter was killed in an apparent stabbing.

Police were called to a home on Larned Street in Detroit about 3 a.m. Sunday morning and found the child dead at the scene.

The mother of the 9-year-old girl was taken into custody by police.
