CrimeStoppers Offers Reward In Quadruple Homicide

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) They know one thing for sure: Dyrelle Davis, 34,  Janetta Harris, 22, Jason Koester, 28 and Shawn Bender, 16, were murdered on Detroit'’s east side.

What they don't know is who did it -- or why.

Police said the four victims were found shot to death execution style in a home at approximately 9:15 p.m.  Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2012, in the 15000 block of Tacoma at Brock Avenue.

This was the latest shocking crime to happen in Detroit, where homicides spiked this year, totaling 354 through Thanksgiving. In all of 2011, there were 344 killings.

And now a $2,500 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers of Michigan for information that leads to an arrest in the quadruple homicide. If the tip that leads to an arrest is received by midnight Wednesday, there is an additional $1,000 reward for a total of $3,500.

Crime Stoppers is holding a press conference to announce the reward at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, where family members are expected to speak about the devastation left behind by the senseless killing.
