Lions' Ndamukong Suh Settles Car Accident Lawsuit Out Of Court

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has experienced his share of controversy. First the stomping, then the alleged, um, kicking. Last week, though, Suh wiped the slate clean on a $1 million lawsuit against him after a passenger in his vehicle was injured in a single-car accident over a year ago in Portland, Ore.

According to Oregon's FOX 12, Suh settled the lawsuit out of court last week, with terms of the settlement not disclosed.

The lawsuit stems from an accident in December of 2011, when Suh wrecked his car around 1 a.m. His story varied from the two passengers', and eventually, Saadia Van Winkle decided to take Suh to court, alleging that the Lions player "engaged in negligence, reckless driving and intentional infliction of emotional distress."
