Casting Call! The Ultimate Fishing Show In Novi This Weekend

NOVI (WWJ) - About 30,000 fishing enthusiasts are expected to gather in Novi this weekend for "The Ultimate Fishing Show."

Adam Starr is the show manager and he tells WWJ the show features leading experts and fishing professionals who will conduct seminars, as well as special attractions for the entire family.

"They do five non-stop seminars, every hour of everyday, and they are teaching kids how to catch pan fish, how to catch walleye, how to cast for bass," said Starr. "Basically, every Michigan game fish has seminars about that topic, here at the show."

"I've got little kids myself, and I bring them down to the show for all of the family activities," said Starr. "Whether you want to fish in the trail pond - catch a live rainbow trout, whether you or fish the ultimate virtual fishing simulator whether you want to take a fly casting lesson or learn how to tie a fishing fly."
