Fire Breaks Out At Apt. Complex Near U Of M

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WWJ) – Three Ann Arbor police officers and one woman were taken to a hospital Sunday night, following a fire at an apartment complex near the University of Michigan.

It happened around 9 p.m. on Packard Street near Woodlawn Avenue. The woman was rescued after being trapped in her third-floor apartment.

The cause of the fire is unknown. All of the victims were treated for suspected smoke inhalation.
