H2bid Launches H2Seek, First Search Engine For Water Industry

DETROIT -- H2bid Inc., the Detroit-based online source for water and wastewater utility contract opportunites, has launched H2Seek, a niche search engine for the water industry.

H2Seek is a free search engine that allows anyone to conduct water-related searches more efficiently.

"More and more people are beginning to seek information about the water industry, particularly in light of its amazing challenges and opportunities," said H2bid's CEO, Glenn Oliver.  "A typical water-related search in a major search engine will bring up millions of search results that actually have nothing to do with the water industry.  H2Seek is designed to be a search engine that will produce results that are about the water industry, reducing the time it takes to find relevant and useful information."

H2Seek is built using Google's vertical search engine creation tool.  If anyone would like to add their website to H2Seek's database of sites, please send an email to info@h2bid.com.

More than 180,000 water and wastewater utility contract opportunities have been posted on the H2bid site. Water utilities, wastewater utilities, and government agencies can use H2bid's e-bidding service to advertise bids, accept bid responses, and award contracts online.

H2bid's full-service e-bidding platform helps water and wastewater utilities save up to 20% or more on their purchasing costs.  H2bid's web-based tools also help utilities use their procurement spending to enhance local economic development and improve operational efficiency.  In addition, H2bid's lead generation service provides water utility vendors with access to the world's largest database of bids from water and wastewater utilities.
