Public Invited To Dearborn Home Energy Audit Demo: The public is invited to a free home energy audit seminar from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the historic McFadden Ross House, 915 Brady, in Dearborn. The energy-conservation event is being hosted by the City of Dearborn's Sustainability Coalition and Ecotelligent Homes. Guests will have the chance to learn what a home energy audit is and handle the equipment professional service technicians use to perform energy audits.  They will also be able to speak with DTE Energy representatives about the many rebate programs available to residents who have a home energy audit performed and who implement energy-efficiency improvements. Experts have already conducted an energy audit at the historic McFadden Ross House to use as an example during the demonstration at the Feb. 5 meeting. SAE Offers 2013 Ford Fusion Vehicle Event: The SAE will offer its members an up-close look at the all-new 2013 Ford Fusion Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the Ford Conference and Events Center at 1151 Village Road in Dearborn. The 2013 Fusion is the first sedan to offer gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions -- each focused on delivering great driving dynamics, comfort, safety and fuel economy. Featuring a sleek silhouette and fresh face, the Fusion is the latest in a series of vehicles from Ford developed to satisfy customers everywhere who want leading fuel efficiency, helpful technologies and game-changing looks. Speakers include three Ford executives: Hau Thai-Tang, vice president, engineering, global product development; John Jraiche, global chief engineer, Ford Fusion and Mondeo; and Gil Portalatin, global electrified powertrains integration manager.
