FLINT (WWJ) – More than 20 vehicles were involved, including some semi trucks, in an acchident Thursday afternoon along US-23, south of Flint.

The multi-vehicle accident shut down US-23 at Grand Blanc Road, but the freeway has since reopened.

Drivers said there were snow squalls and whiteout conditions when the accident occurred.

Only minor injuries were reported.

This happened while crews were still working to clear the scene of another massive pileup; that one along southbound I-75 north of the Rouge River bridge. At least three people, including two children, were killed in multiple collisions. Ten or more people were hurt. (More on this here).
