Weather Continues To Hamper Drive, Traffic In Area

DUNDEE (WWJ) - Just days after that terrible accident on southbound I-75 in southwest Detroit caused by a blinding snowstorm, weather was again causing problems on local highways Saturday.

Southbound US-23 at Tecumseh in Dundee was closed Saturday for about an hour after a pickup truck rear-ended a semi-truck.

Joyce Williams, spokeswoman for Monroe Community Ambulance, said two ambulance units were at the scene of the crash, and took three patients to the hospital. Two of the patients were listed in critical condition, and the third was listed as stable.

No further information on the victims was available.
