Body Found Is That Of Missing Detroit Mom

DETROIT (WWJ) - It's been confirmed that a body found this week in a home on Detroit's northwest side is that of a missing Detroit mother.

Dynasty Myles, 23, was last seen in Dearborn on New Years Day.

Her family's lawyer told WWJ Newsradio 950 on Thursday that a positive identification has been made, and that family members are devastated by the news.

Myles was last seen at the Fairlane Town Center, after leaving her young daughter with her parents in Southfield. Her body was discovered by city workers over a month later at an abandoned home near the Lodge Freeway in Detroit.

Evidence collected at the scene suggests Myles was dragged into the home against her will, but officials are not saying how long her body had been there.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information on her disappearance -- but that could increase if her death is officially ruled a homicide.

Anyone with information about Myles' disappearance is asked to call 1-800-SPEAK-UP. You can also submit a tip online at www.1800speakup.org, or text "CSM" and your tip to CRIMES (274637).
