Murdered Man’s Car Found Abandoned In Detroit

HARPER WOODS (WWJ) – Police have found a car belonging to a Harper Woods man who was found shot to death in his home.

Officers spotted Johnny Lee Buckner’s vehicle on Friday, abandoned in Detroit.

Buckner’s body was discovered on Thursday at his home on Old Homestead road by a relative — and police said they believed robbery was the motive. Buckner’s car went missing the same day.

There have been no arrests in the case and police are looking for tips.

Anyone with information is asked to call Harper Wood police at  313-343-2530 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
