4 Women Dead In Multi-Car Accident On Icy Road

VAN BUREN COUNTY (WWJ) -  Four women, all from the same church, have died after their car crashed into two others on an icy road.

The Van Buren County sheriff's office says the crash occurred Saturday night, just south of Hartford.

The women were returning from a dinner trip to Indiana. Police are continuing to investigate.

Officials said their car was hit by a van that couldn't stop. The victims' car then began to spin directly in the path of a pickup truck.

All four victims were wearing seatbelts.
