All Clear Given After HAZMAT Scare In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Firefighters, police and EMS crews were on the scene Monday morning of a HAZMAT scare in Detroit.
Detroit fire officials talking to WWJ Newsradio 950 said a meter at a waste water treatment facility on West Jefferson indicated that there might have been a chlorine spill -- but it was later determined that it was a false alarm.
There were no evacuations and no injuries were reported.
The scene was clearing by 10 a.m.
