We love our professional athletes in Detroit even if they are mediocre. All you have to be is a nice guy that tries hard and you can win this fan base over. A caller told us about a Hall of Fame he and his buddies created so Mike and I did the same, creating the Valenti and Foster Mediocre Nice Guy Hall of fame.

Some of the current or recently departed athletes included Tayshaun Prince, Brandon Inge, Dominic Raiola and Quintin Berry. We talked about them a lot as fans and media, but what did they really produce? They were not all stars but we treated them as such.

Here are some of the Hall of Famers we came up with on the show.

Steven Boyd, Erik Kramer, Bob Probert, Kirk Maltby, Kris Draper, Mehmet Okur, Nate Robertson, Sean Casey, Lindsey Hunter and Darren McCarty.

Who would make your list?
