Boyfriend Held As Suspect In Murder Of Farmington Woman

FARMINGTON (WWJ) - The boyfriend of a missing Farmington woman is now a suspect in her murder. Police say the woman was found dead Saturday night in the home she shared with her boyfriend on Colchester near Orchard Lake and 10 Mile Road.

The 29-year-old victim was reported missing after she had left a party to pick up her boyfriend from work. Police say the boyfriend confessed to arguing with the victim -- which then turned physical.

Police tell WWJ the boyfriend in custody.

The case is being reviewed by the Oakland County Prosecutor's office. This is the first murder in the City of Farmington since 2005.
