Detroit Pistons To Award Luxury Car To Game Changer Of The Year

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons announced today that the Come Together Foundation will gift one outstanding Game Changer with a 2013 Chrysler 300C.  Debuting at tonight's 7:30 p.m. home game versus the Atlanta Hawks and for the remainder of the season, the car will be on display on the concourse where fans can nominate individuals within their community.

Game Changers are people making a difference in their community through leadership, service and volunteerism.  The Pistons honor Game Changers at each home game, sharing their inspiring stories, while also supporting with gifts through the Come Together Foundation, including grants and the Chrysler 300C.

Game Changers ambassadors will educate Pistons fans about the Game Changers program and accept nominations using mobile tablets at the in-arena car display at Section 110.  Everyone who nominates a Game Changer is entered to win a Pistons VIP Package.

"The Game Changers program thanks the unsung heroes who are helping others in the community, while encouraging others to also give back," said Dennis Mannion, CEO and president of Palace Sports & Entertainment.  "A Game Changer is invaluable to the people they help, and the Chrysler 300C is a grand symbol of this effort to recognize those leading by example."

Following the Pistons season the car will continue to be on display at select shows throughout the summer at DTE Energy Music Theatre, culminating with the 2nd annual CT Celebration when the car will be gifted to the Game Changer of the Year.

Nominate a Game Changer in-arena at The Palace or at www.pistons.com/gamechangers.
