3 Hospitalized After Rollover Crash On Lodge Freeway

DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police say three people are hospitalized following a rollover accident Tuesday morning on the Lodge Freeway.

Investigators say the car was traveling on the service drive around 4 a.m. when it lost control and rolled over onto the southbound lanes of M-10, near Clairmount Street.

The Fire Department was called in to help free everyone from the wreckage. Police say all three victims were taken to Henry Ford Hospital, although details on their conditions weren’t immediately known.

It’s unknown whether or not alcohol was a factor in the accident.

Two lanes of M-10 that were closed while police conducted a crash investigation have since reopened.

An investigation is ongoing.
