Tips Sought In Fatal Hit-And-Run

INKSTER (WWJ) – Inkster police believe a man who was found lying dead in the middle of the road was the victim of a hit-and-run.

Police said they received a call about 7:30 a.m. Friday from a passerby, who saw the man on Central St. between Parkwood and Rosewood.

Police said the man had no I.D. on him and authorities are looking to identify him. He’s described as a white male in white male between 50 and 60-years-old with a prosthetic leg.

An autopsy will be performed.
