The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Shares New Research on Women's Leadership During Multi-Chamber Event: Understanding which factors help women succeed in corporate America will be discussed during the "Advancing Women to the Top Leadership Breakfast" hosted by the Troy, Rochester Regional and Auburn Hills Chambers of Commerce. Working in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Center for Women in Business, local CEOs from Dow Automotive, TTi Global and VMS365 will share insights on their own company's practices in promoting women within their organizations. Advancing Women to the Top examines best practices of a number of Fortune 1000 companies that excel at promoting and developing women at the board, C-Suite, and management levels.  To localize the research, panelists include Lori Blaker, president and CEO of TTi Global in Rochester Hills, Rumia Ambrose-Burbank, president and founder of VMS365 in Troy, and Steve Henderson, president of Dow Automotive in Auburn Hills. These business leaders will provide context to the national data. The Advancing Women to the Top Leadership Breakfast, sponsored by Yeo & Yeo, Oakland University, DBusiness Magazine, and Volkswagen, will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13 at Marriott Centerpoint in Pontiac. The event is open to the public with tickets starting at $25 for members of the Auburn Hills, Rochester Regional, or Troy Chamber of Commerce. Members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce may register locally at the same rate. Tickets for non-members are $30. Ticket prices increase by $5 after March 11. Event sponsorships are also available.
