Former Lion Mike Furrey Named WR Coach At Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Mike Furrey has been named wide receivers coach at Marshall.

Furrey spent two seasons as head coach and offensive coordinator at Kentucky Christian of the NAIA.

He also was a high school position coach in London, Ohio, and spent eight seasons in the NFL with the St. Louis Rams, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and Washington Redskins. While with the Lions, Furrey led the NFC with 98 receptions in 2006.
