Girl Missing After Rendezvous With Man She Met Online

RILEY TWP. (WWJ) - Police are searching for a 15-year-old St. Clair County girl who may have been kidnapped after hooking up with a man she met online.

Family members say they last saw Isha Greir the morning of Feb. 26 before she started her day at Crossroads Alternative Education School in Capac. Investigators believe Greir met up with a man that same afternoon and traveled to a motel in Roseville.

"She was hooking up with an adult male on Facebook," State Police Detective Sgt. Patrick Young told The Macomb Daily. "She doesn't have a phone and her Facebook account shows no activity since she went missing Feb. 26."

Investigators believed Greir might have returned to her home in Riley Township early the next morning and was seen by at least one witness around 10 a.m. in Capac. State police say information gathered during the investigation shows that Greir may have been kidnapped.

Greir is described as 5-feet 5-inches tall and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black-and-white zebra-striped pants, a black top, black boots and a plaid coat.

Investigators say Greir previously attended school in Mount Clemens and may have contacts in that area.

Anyone with information on Greir's whereabouts is asked to contact Michigan State Police at 586-615-1359.
