Police Investigate Elementary School Threat

CLARKSTON (WWJ) - A bomb threat forced the evacuation of North Sashabaw Elementary School in Clarkston on Tuesday.

Clarkston Public Schools spokesperson Heidi McClain said the threat, that was texted in, included a specific time. It wasn't considered credible but the kids were moved to Sashabaw Middle School as a precaution.

McClain said police with bomb-sniffing dogs investigated and found nothing. The students were allowed back into the building where they continued the school day.

A letter was sent to parents.

Police have no suspects.
