Faygo Banking On Gold For New Soda Flavor

DETROIT (WWJ) - Michigan's favorite soda pop is giving its fans a chance to win gold this Saint Patrick's day weekend.

Faygo has launched their new flavor, "Faygo Gold" with a contest called "At the end of the Faygo Rainbow ... is Gold."

"It's a spicy flavor, it's a ginger ale, and our consumers are telling us they love this new flavor already," said Al Cittaro, Executive Vice President of Faygo.

One of the promotion features is an opportunity to win real gold from Tappers Diamonds and Jewelry.

"We'll be sampling both regular and diet Faygo gold with another chance to win this 24 carrot solid gold bar - with the final drawing taking place this Sunday, March 17 at 6 p.m.the W. Bloomfield Tappers location," he said.
