Woman Dies Following Single Car Crash In Canton

YPSILANTI (WWJ) - A 41-year-old Ypsilanti woman is dead following an early-morning accident Sunday. It happened on southbound I-275 and Michigan Avenue in Canton.

Michigan State Police say Desiree Richard-Mobley was killed when the Jeep she was driving crashed into a guard rail, veered off the road, and rolled over. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police say it's unclear if alcohol was a factor ... and it's not known at this time if she was wearing a seat belt.
